Most of the people, especially students download music from the internet everyday. People do not give much impotance to music piracy and yes, music piracy is a type pf stealing.If you ask me, this issue is uncontrollable, because it became a part of our lives. For instance, teachers photocopy papers and deliver to students and non of the people think this as a piracy. Downloading and copying is much more easier and cheaper way to listen a song. By the way photocopying is only illegal if it involves more than 10% of a work.
